Progressive Black Men, Inc. is a 501c (3) non-profit service organization whose purpose is to promote positive images of African American Men. Our mission is to eradicate negative stereotypes placed on people of African descent through Academic Excellence, Communal Support, and the Fellowship of Brothers.

On November 19, 2012, the "Lavish" Florida Atlantic University (FAU) chapter of Progressive Black Men, Inc was chartered by eight men, serving as the first in the South Florida area. The FAU chapter has developed programming to support Breast Cancer Awareness, Voters Registration Drives, Boca Raton's Historic District, Pearl City, and many others to support the mission of the organization.
